Rename things to match your studio
Not every studio calls an event an “event.” Terminology lets you rename what things are called across the whole workspace, navigation, pages, emails, and documents, by overriding Florio’s built-in wording. Overrides apply live everywhere the moment you save.
Before you start
- You need the permission to manage settings (the Admin / Owner role has it).
- Overrides sit on top of the built-in wording. Leave a field blank to keep the default; you are only changing the words you type.
Rename a term
- Open Admin, then Terminology.
- Type in Search terms by key or text to find the word you want to change.
- In the matching row, type your wording in the Override column, in English, Spanish, or both.
- Click Save. It applies live, so a rename to navigation shows up the next time a page loads.
Use a preset
For a common rename, click a preset like Preset: Events → Projects to fill in the overrides for you, then review and Save.
Good to know
- The count line tells you how many terms you have overridden. To undo one, clear its override with the × at the end of the row and save.
- Because an override changes wording everywhere, pick terms your whole team will recognize; this is a studio-wide vocabulary, not a personal preference.
