Export a report to a spreadsheet
When you need a report’s numbers in a spreadsheet, to hand to an accountant, to slice further, or to keep, use Export CSV. The file is built by the server from the same numbers on your screen, so an export a teammate makes on another device matches yours line for line.
Before you start
- You need permission to view the report you are exporting.
- Set the report’s filters, its period, date range, or as-of date, the way you want the export to read. The CSV reflects the current view.
Export a report
- Open the report.
- Click Export CSV on the report table.
- Open the downloaded file in your spreadsheet.
Good to know
- Most reports offer Export CSV; a few summary views (Forecast, Business, Recurring, Consult coaching, Approval Scorecard) do not, because they are charts and roll-ups rather than a table. Every report can still be shared with Copy link or printed with Print / PDF.
- The Cash / Receivables export includes each customer’s per-event detail rows and the aging totals, so it reconciles with the on-screen report.
- The button is disabled when a report’s table is empty; widen the period or range and it comes back.
