Put your photos on the storefront

The storefront opens on your own event photos: a few rotating photos behind the headline, photo tiles for each category, Shop by Look, and a short story about your designers. Each category page can open on a wide photo too. You choose all of them in Florio, from your photo library.

Which photos can go on the storefront

Only a photo with a credited photographer that is cleared for use can be chosen, and the picker shows nothing else. The storefront prints the credit on every photo; on the landing and category banners it links to the photographer’s website when you have one on file. A client’s name never appears.

If a photo later loses its credit or clearance, the storefront leaves it out on its own, and Florio marks it so you can choose another.

The landing page

Open Rentals, then Storefront pages.

  • Landing photos: up to three event photos rotate behind the headline. Wide photos at least 2,400 pixels across look best. Use the arrows to change their order, or click a photo’s credit to swap it for another.
  • Story band: a photo, a heading and a few lines about the designers behind the collection, in English and Spanish. It shows once it has a heading or text.

With no landing photos, the storefront shows its plain headline instead.

Shop by Look

A look gathers every published piece of one style (Glam, Rustic, Garden) under a mood photo. Under Shop by Look, choose a style and Add the look, then give it a photo, a Spanish name and a one-line intro. The landing page shows the first five looks, and Shop by Look in the menu lists them all. A look stays hidden while it has no published pieces, or when you switch off Shown.

Category photos

On Rentals, then Categories, click a row to open its settings:

  • Tile photo shows on the landing page’s category tile and in the menu. A tall photo works best. Without one, a piece’s photo is used.
  • Banner photo runs across the top of the category page behind its name. On a sub-category it shows beside the name instead.

Colors

A piece’s color is picked from single colors, and a piece can have several (Gold & Ivory). To add a color that isn’t on the list, use Add a new color; Florio asks “Did you mean…?” when it is one letter off a color you already have.

The storefront groups colors into families, each with a round swatch: the Color menu and the Shop by Color row on the landing page list families, and a shopper who picks Pink sees every piece in Hot Pink, Blush, Mauve or any other shade you put under Pink. A piece’s own page still names its exact color.

Set the families under Rentals, then Categories, in Colors: rename a family, give it a Spanish name, change its swatch, or add one with Add a color family. The table beside it lists every color on your pieces with the family it belongs to; pick another family to move it. A color with no family is flagged at the top, and the storefront lists it under its own name until you place it.
