Read the money reports

The Money group answers the cash questions: who owes you, what you have booked, what you have earned, and what recurs. Every figure is pre-tax, the same basis your scorecard uses, so a number here is a number you can carry into a conversation with your accountant.

Cash / Receivables

Cash / Receivables is your accounts-receivable picture and your forward cash in one place. The stat cards read Outstanding, Overdue, Current, and Ready to bill. Below them, customers are aged into the standard columns (current, then 1-30, 31-60, 61-90, and 91 and over) so the layout matches your accountant’s aging report.

  • Move the As of date to age the book to any day, today or a future date, and watch how it will age.
  • Turn on Show from QuickBooks to fold your QuickBooks open items in alongside the Florio schedule, tagged by source and never double-counted.

The forward half reads the payment schedule on each signed event, so you see expected cash by when it is due without pre-creating invoices. The full picture is in How Florio works with QuickBooks Online.

Bookings and Revenue

These two are a pair, both set by a From and To date range:

  • Bookings counts new business the moment it is committed, across events, orders, rentals, and maintenance. It answers “how much did we sell this month?”
  • Revenue counts the same value by when the work actually happens, the event date, the delivery, the rental, the maintenance month. It answers “how much did we earn this month?”

The gap between them is timing: a wedding booked in March for October is a March booking and October revenue.

Business

Business is a revenue roll-up across your lines of business with totals, plus a budget-accuracy view that shows how close your quotes ran to actuals by event type. Use the Period pills to trend it.

Recurring

Recurring is the health of your standing orders: monthly recurring revenue, how many are active, and revenue, cost, and gross profit by month. It is the report that tells you whether your recurring floral base is growing.

Good to know

  • Every money report carries Copy link and Print / PDF, and most offer Export CSV. See Export a report to a spreadsheet.
  • Because Bookings and Revenue answer different questions, do not expect them to match in a given month; that difference is the point.
