Set up a TV or display board

Esta página aún no está disponible en tu idioma.

A display board turns any Apple TV into a live view of the day: the crew schedule in the workroom, deliveries in flight, a photo loop in the lobby, or the numbers in a private office. You pair each screen once, then choose what it shows.

Before you start

  • You need admin access. Managers cannot pair or remove displays.
  • Install the Florio app on the Apple TV and open it. It shows a 6-character pairing code.
  • Decide the screen’s tier before you pair it. A screen that will show money must be paired as Executive (see Good to know).

Steps

  1. In Florio, open Admin, then Displays.
  2. Under Pair a display, type the 6-character code shown on the TV.
  3. Set the Board scope: All blocks for the whole studio, or A department for one team’s work.
  4. Set the Board tier. Ops shows crew boards with no financial data. Executive can show revenue, pipeline, and event values on the screen.
  5. Optionally give it a Board title, like “Warehouse, Today.” That is the name you will see for it in the list.
  6. Approve. The TV starts showing its board within about 15 seconds.
  7. Open the display’s Playlist and add the boards you want, in the order you want them.
  8. Reorder them with the arrows. The TV cycles through the list, holding each for the time set on that board.

Good to know

  • Ops and Executive is the money line. Boards that carry dollar figures (Revenue, Pipeline, the executive Today board, and Today’s Events) are only ever offered to executive-tier displays, so a workroom or lobby TV cannot show them. Pair executive screens only in private offices or conference rooms.
  • Boards are reusable. Create a board once under Boards (its type, an optional name, which department it covers, and how long it holds on screen), then drop it into as many displays’ playlists as you like.
  • Rename anytime. Change a display’s Board title, or a board’s Title, right in the table.
  • Retiring a screen. Revoke sends a TV back to its pairing screen and moves it to the Revoked view. From there, Restore brings it back, or Remove deletes it for good.
  • The boards you can choose: the crew Schedule, Deliveries, the Prep queue, a Showroom photo loop, a money-free Morale board, Today’s Events, and the executive Today, Pipeline, and Revenue boards.
  • Where this fits: Native apps and boards.
