Marketplace orders

Esta página aún no está disponible en tu idioma.

If you take orders through outside floral marketplaces, you already know the tax: an order arrives as an email, someone retypes it onto the board, and the fees hide in fine print until the payout lands short. Florio removes both problems. It reads the marketplace’s own notification email and turns it into a real order, and it reconciles the money so the deposit matches the record.

A reconciled marketplace order: order total $92.00, platform fee $18.40 held back, your payout $73.60 matching the bank deposit, parsed from the notification email Product mockup; data illustrative.

Parsed, not retyped

When the marketplace emails you an order, Florio parses it into your order board with the details intact:

  • Line items, delivery details, and special instructions land as a real order, next to everything else on the board.
  • No double entry. Nobody keys it in a second time, so nothing is dropped or fat-fingered on the way from the inbox to the bench.

Your own web shop counts too

The same treatment covers a storefront you run under your own brand: its order confirmation emails become real orders under that brand, and the buyer is kept as a client, so repeat web customers build a history you can market to.

Already typed by hand? No duplicate

Shops that lived this workflow before Florio often have someone keying the email onto the board by reflex. If an order was already entered by hand, Florio recognizes the match, the same delivery date, recipient, and total, and completes that order with the details from the email instead of creating a second one. What your team typed always wins; Florio only fills in what was left blank.

Fees reconciled, gross to net

The reason marketplace orders are painful at the books is that the platform keeps a cut, and the number you see is not the number you get. Florio reconciles each order from gross to net: what the customer paid, what the platform held back, and the payout that actually hits your account. The deposit matches the record, so a marketplace order is no longer a monthly mystery to untangle.

This is the same reconcile-to-the-penny discipline behind how Florio works with QuickBooks Online: a number on a Florio report is a number your accountant recognizes.

Described generically, on purpose

We keep this platform-agnostic. Florio works with the marketplaces you already sell on, and we describe them generically here rather than naming names. If you want to know whether a specific channel is supported, ask us.
